We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our manufacturing team as an Entry-Level Machine Operator. This position involves operating various machines including CNC machines, folder machines, and press brake machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities- Set up machinery for operation according to job order specifications.
- Load raw materials into machines.
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning.
- Conduct quality checks of produced parts to ensure adherence to tolerances.
- Make adjustments to machine settings to control speed, material feed, and cut path.
- Troubleshoot machine errors and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Clean machines and work area regularly.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Basic understanding of machine operations and mechanics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
