Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least two years of ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of an acute care hospital setting

• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30

• Every other weekend required

• Floating within the facility and within scope of practice as needed

• No on-call responsibilities

• Travelers must be prepared to work major holidays in accordance with facility policy

• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed, excluding the first week of the assignment

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

• No blocked scheduling permitted

• Travel pairs cannot work the same shift on the same unit

• Former Piedmont perm or PRN employees must be away from any Piedmont facility for at least one full year before returning as a traveler

• Return travelers previously unable to return to a Piedmont facility must complete a successful assignment elsewhere before rebooking at another Piedmont location

• Orientation hours are determined by contract length

• Full compliance is required to begin assignment; delays in compliance may result in assignment start being pushed back due to bi-weekly orientation schedule

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience is mandatory

• First-time travelers are considered for this position

• Full compliance with all documentation and credentialing requirements is necessary to start on time
