Job Description
ROLE - SPECIALTY

Assignment Details
- Daily census: ~20 patients
- Unit capacity: 20 beds/rooms

Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact)
- Minimum 2 years RN experience

- Certifications:

ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Patient ratio experience: 5:1 preferred
- Clinical skills:
Med/Surg and Telemetry care, IV starts, oxygen therapy, feeding tube care, wound care, ortho/trauma post-op care

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide care for adult and geriatric patients with medical and surgical conditions, with a focus on telemetry.
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV therapy and PCA management.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge plans.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 6 hours (non-billable)
- Compliance documents due by the Tuesday prior to start
- Max RTO: 7 days per contract; all RTO must be finalized at submission
