Key responsibilities of the RN – Home Health – Travel include:

• Assess the health of the people we serve and implement their care plans
• Ensure health maintenance and disease prevention
• Provide case management and supervision of care plans and staff members
• Observe, assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing support for individuals
• Coordinate communications and actions of various disciplines related to health and safety
• Manage medication ordering, reviewing, monitoring, and disposal as prescribed
• Ensure health-related policies are reviewed and revised annually
• Direct and supervise activities of the licensed practical/vocational nurse as needed
• Schedule and ensure completion of health-related appointments
• Provide new employee and annual recertification training on health and safety

Requirements of the RN – Home Health – Travel include:

• Valid RN License
• Experience with HCHB and OASIS
