Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide care in a fast-paced emergency environment for patients of various age groups, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Perform triage and management of patients presenting with multisystem organ dysfunction.
- Administer ventilator care, including BiPAP and CPAP management.
- Monitor and manage patients requiring procedural sedation.
- Recognize and manage dysrhythmias, STEMI, and stroke presentations.
- Handle behavioral and psychiatric emergencies, including managing violent behavior.
Compliance / Notes
- Orientation hours: 12 (non-billable orientation hours vary by contract length) - Request Time Off (RTO):
Max 7 days per contract; all RTO must be finalized at submission; no RTO during orientation week; no RTO after offer/onsite
- If one major holiday falls during the assignment, expected to work it; if two, expected to work both; if three, expected to work two of them. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day
