Position Overview
The Custom Product Coordinator supports the coordination and execution of custom product requests, including custom colors, patterns, and specifications. This role partners closely with account executives and cross‑functional teams to ensure requests are delivered accurately, on time, and aligned to customer expectations. This position is a critical link between sales, product development, and operations, helping bring custom solutions to life. The hybrid role is based in Cartersville, GA and requires 3–5 days a week in office.
Key Responsibilities- Project & Request Coordination
- Manage custom sample requests from intake through completion
- Translate customer and account manager needs into clear product requirements
- Track multiple requests, timelines, and priorities simultaneously
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner with sales, product development, manufacturing, and logistics teams
- Coordinate sample production, material needs, and specification changes
- Communicate updates, risks, and timelines to stakeholders
- Product & Sample Execution
- Initiate and track samples through internal systems
- Review completed samples to ensure alignment with specifications
- Support shipping and delivery of samples to customers or internal partners
- Pricing & Product Support
- Assist with custom pricing and product‑related requests
- Provide guidance on product options, capabilities, and constraints
- Support account teams in meeting customer expectations and pricing goals
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1‑3+ years of experience in a related role such as project coordination, administrative or operational support, customer service or sales support, manufacturing or product support environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred Experience s and Skills
- Experience in flooring, carpet, textiles, or manufacturing
- Exposure to custom products or sample‑based environments
- Experience supporting sales or account management teams
- Familiarity with systems such as CRM or product/project tracking tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar platforms)
- Basic understanding of product specifications (color, material, construction, etc.)

8‑Hour non‑rotating shift, hours fall to in‑punch day, observed calendar, shift starts AM.
