Quality Assurance Manager

Summary The Quality Assurance Manager position is responsible for the Quality Management System,including management and implementation of procedures and maintaining compliance in adherence with MJC, customer, and regulatory standards. The position supervises the QA/QCteam.

Job Responsibilities and Duties Oversees the Quality Management System Supervise the creation and implementation of quality assurance goals, objectives and procedures Manage quality assurance staff who fall under the following departments:
Quality Engineering and Quality Control Serve as MJC contact to OEM customer. Provide requested information and updates toOEM on a timely basis Collect, analyze, and summarize quality control/quality assurance trends and data,compile information into reports, present reports and recommendation for corrective action and or change as necessary Identify, prioritize, communicate and resolve issues related to manufacturing MJCproducts Perform internal audits, address nonconformities from previous internal and external audits Perform external supplier audits Conduct periodic management reviews of the QA/QC system and adjust as necessary Manage Corrective Action/Preventative Action (CAPA) process Ensure that organizational systems and training are in place Overseeing established calibration and testing program Assist the management team and provide QA support as necessary Lead and direct company on path towards ISO compliance

Skills and Qualifications Minimum of a B.S. in engineering At least two years of experience in employee management Effective and accomplished leader who manages through collaboration and teamwork amust At least five years of experience in manufacturing, with strong preference for HVACmanufacturing Fluency in statistics, PFMEA and root cause analysis a must Excellent communications skills a must Strong organizational, decision-making and time management skills a must Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization capabilities a must Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and ChatGPT a must

Experience with ERP systems and statistical programs preferred Black Belt certification preferred Spanish speaker a plus (bilingualism in English and Spanish)
Supervisory Responsibility This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Some ofthe work will require exposure to loud noises or fumes in the plant facility.
