Overview

ASA Fire Protection specializes in the inspection, testing, and maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems, including wet, dry, preaction, deluge, and foam systems. Additionally, the company offers services for the maintenance and testing of portable fire protection equipment, commercial kitchen fire protection systems, and emergency/exit lighting. ASA Fire Protection also conducts safety equipment inspections, such as respiratory and fall protection equipment and OSHA ladder assessments.

This is a full-time on-site role located in Cartersville, GA, for a Multifamily Fire Sprinkler System Designer. The responsibilities include designing efficient and compliant fire sprinkler systems using specialized design software, conducting detailed research for system specifications, and performing testing to ensure proper functionality and adherence to safety standards. The candidate will work collaboratively with project stakeholders to innovate and optimize system designs.

• Proficiency in Systems Design with a focus on compliance and efficiency
• Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and related design tools
• Knowledge in Testing and ensuring functionality and safety of fire protection systems
• Ability to conduct thorough research and apply findings to system designs
• Familiarity with electronics related to fire sprinkler systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in fire protection or related disciplines is a plus
