Construction Laborer; Bowen Steam Station

Founded in 1960 by Rudy Gerbus and his brother, Gerbus Bros Construction initially specialized in mass earth moving. Pay rate: $17.30 – $23.79 / hour

• Full time (40+ hours / week)
• Rolling 4 days on 4 days off – weekends included
• Day shift

General Construction Site Labor Activities.

• Cleaning and preparing construction sites.
• Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
• Digging trenches, compacting earth, and back filling holes.
• Operating and tending machinery misc. heavy equipment.
• Following instructions from supervisors.
• Assisting tradespeople in their duties.

• Experience as a general laborer in an outdoor environment is preferred.

• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., work in all types of weather, walk, and stand for extended periods of time
• Must be physically able to perform the work outside in hot and/ or cold weather conditions.
• Must be able to work in a construction environment.
• Must be able to walk slopes and uneven terrain.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to successfully pass a MVR, and background check, and drug test (including THC).
