** Summary
* * Responsible for assisting with the installation of fire sprinkler systems on construction and retrofit projects; this is an entry-level role supporting foremen and fitters by performing basic labor tasks while learning fire sprinkler installation techniques, safety practices, and code requirements.
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Assist fire sprinkler installers with system installation activities.
* Carry, stage, and organize materials, pipe, fittings, and tools.
* Cut, thread, and prep pipe under supervision.
* Assist with hanging pipe, installing hangers, and setting sprinkler heads.
* Support flushing, pressure testing, and system startup activities.
* Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
* Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
* Participate in safety meetings and on-the-job training.
** Education and/or Experience
** High school diploma and 0-2 years’ experience; construction or mechanical experience a plus.
** Computer Skills
** Basic computer skills, email.
** Physical Demands
** Frequent standing, walking, crouching/bending, climbing ladders, and working at heights; ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs; ability to work in confined spaces and variable weather conditions; exposure to noise, dust, and construction environments.## QualificationsASA Fire Protection is part of the successful Century Fire Protection full-service fire protection company based in the Southeast.
