If so, then PIRTEK Cartersville may be a great fit for you! PIRTEK, the nation’s leading provider for on-site hydraulic hose replacement is currently hiring Field Service Mechanics. Our Field Service Mechanics remove, assemble, and install hydraulic hoses on construction equipment, manufacturing equipment, recycling equipment and basically anything fluid power.

Our Field Service Mechanics operate out of a PIRTEK Service & Supply Center in a purpose built mobile hose workshop/van.

• Assess customer needs on hydraulic equipment
• Remove, repair, and/or replace hydraulic hoses
• Visit with active customers to assess needs
• Initiate contact with potential customers to explain our available services
• Work independently

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years experience in trade involving mechanical repair
• Valid Driver’s License
• Clean Driving Record – no DUI’s in the last 5 years

• Wage: $24 per hour – starting wage based on experience
• Overtime – variable, based on number of service requests
• Bonus – variable, based on jobs completed monthly
• Paid On-The-Job Training
• Company Vehicle – Field Service Mechanics drive their service van to/from work daily
