What You’ll Do- Champion Safety:
Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards. - Weld:
Perform large volume pump repair and general pipe fitting. - Operate Equipment:
Operate a backhoe, skid steer, and manlift. - Assist Electricians:
Assist a qualified electrician with installation and maintenance of electrical components in water systems.
- Travel to various sites across the region (up to 90%).
- Education:
Must have a high school degree or its equivalent. - Functional Knowledge:
Must have a general knowledge of plumbing fitting and parts; must be able to read and interpret blueprints; must have welding knowledge. - Ready to Drive:
Must have a valid CDL license. - Flexibility:
Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands; must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
