As a Commercial Chiller Service Technician, you will diagnose, service, repair, commission, and maintain large commercial and industrial HVAC systems across the Atlanta area. You will troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues to help customers maximize equipment performance, efficiency, and reliability.
Your work will include servicing centrifugal and screw chillers, cooling towers, pumps, boilers, rooftop units, VRF systems, and related mechanical equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, equipment startups, system commissioning, refrigerant diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, controls verification, and operational testing to ensure equipment performs at peak efficiency.
You will interpret wiring diagrams, equipment schematics, and technical documentation; use digital diagnostic equipment and service software; prepare accurate service reports; communicate findings to customers; recommend repair solutions; and coordinate with internal teams to ensure exceptional service on every project.
Participation in an on-call rotation is part of this position.
What We're Looking ForWe seek highly skilled HVAC professionals with at least five years of commercial HVAC service experience, including a minimum of five years in commercial chiller systems. Candidates should have advanced knowledge of refrigeration systems, compressors, chiller controls, electrical systems, and commercial mechanical equipment.
Strong experience troubleshooting large-tonnage chillers, pumps, cooling towers, boilers, rooftop equipment, and commercial HVAC controls is essential. Candidates must be comfortable reading wiring diagrams, interpreting technical manuals, and using computerized diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve complex system issues.
EPA 608 Universal Certification is required. Applicants must also possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and demonstrate the ability to work independently while managing multiple service calls and customer priorities.
Background check and drug test will be required upon a conditional offer of employment.
