Concrete Formwork Carpenter

About this role

Long-term concrete formwork role on a large industrial jobsite near Cartersville/Carrollton, GA. This position runs through mid-2028 and is ideal for experienced form carpenters who can work safely on an active heavy-industrial site. We want hands-on formwork pros who can set anchor bolts, build and strip foundations and footings, and run multiple form systems. Local candidates are preferred, but nationwide applicants willing to travel or relocate are encouraged - a per diem is provided for non-local workers.

What you'll do Layout, build, install and strip concrete forms for foundations, footings and slabs on a large industrial site

Set and accurately position anchor bolts, embeds and hardware to structural tolerances

Work with a variety of form systems (Symons, Efco, Doka, gang forms and handset) and adjust setups as drawings require

Read and interpret structural and civil drawings; perform precise measuring, cutting and layout

Coordinate with concrete crews, riggers and site foremen; follow pour sequences and QA checks

Maintain tools, equipment and form components; inspect work for fit, alignment and compliance with specs

What we're looking for Proven concrete formwork experience on commercial, industrial or power projects

Hands-on experience with foundations, footings and anchor bolt installation

Comfortable working on a large, active industrial or power site and following site-specific safety rules

Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and perform accurate layout

Experience with multiple form systems (Symons, Efco, Doka, gang, handset) and common carpentry hand tools

Reliable, punctual, and able to work full shifts on a long-term project schedule

Qualifications OSHA 10- or 30-hour card preferred (or equivalent site safety training)
Crane signaling or rigging experience/certification a plus Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site travel

Ability to pass drug screen and background check

Strong blueprint reading and layout skills

Spanish-speaking candidates encouraged (not required)
