Join a dedicated group of public health professionals that help support the overall mission and vision of protecting lives of Georgian residents in a variety of ways.

This position is located at the Bartow County Health Department in Cartersville, Georgia. This is an unclassified, full‑time position working 40 hours per week. Please complete your online application with current and previous employment details and duties.

Under direct supervision, works and communicates with the general public, internal customers and/or external customers to provide information and services targeted to meet customer expectations.

High school diploma/GED and one (1) year of experience communicating information in a customer service setting are required.

Bilingual (English to Spanish, Spanish to English)

The use of physical activity breaks during the workday is authorized to support this philosophy and help employees meet their wellness goals. A maximum of 30 minutes of physical activity may be allocated per workday, typically in the form of two 15‑minute breaks or one 30‑minute break.

Employment Information

CBH accepts educational credential recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) will be considered. CBH may contact educational institutions to verify degree, diploma, licensure, etc.

The District Human Resource Department must receive an official transcript and/or proof of licenses, certifications prior to employment.
