Branch Inventory Coordinator

We are currently searching for a Branch Inventory Coordinator to support our local team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Oversee all branch inventory control activities and integrity: walk the facility daily to monitor and report low quantity and out‑of‑stock schematic titles.
- Conduct cycle counts, including task‑driven, random, and specific title requested counts.
- Execute Inventory Control Alerts (ICAs) accurately and on time.
- Manage on‑sale date titles to ensure correct release timing.
- Perform physical inventory activity according to documented processes.
- Follow corporate processes for donations, damages, destructions and quarantine.
- Ensure line sets and schematic changes are completed accurately and timely.
- Complete all markdown and pricing activities as directed.
- Maintain accuracy of inbound receipts and outbound shipments for shipping and receiving.
- Develop mastery of Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) and serve as the branch subject‑matter expert.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lead other employees.
- Consistently meet minimum required production, accuracy, and quality standards for all work performed.
- Follow all safety policies, processes, and procedures at all times.
- Maintain a neat, clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Perform additional duties or tasks associated with other position descriptions as part of individual and team development.
- Oversee all hub activity, including PO distribution, accurate allocation to spoke branches, and adjustment of allocation percentages.
- Maintain effective communication with spoke branches.
- Partner with the Branch Manager to plan and direct inventory activities involving PEO I and PEO II.
- Timely communicate carrier transportation issues to Integrated Carrier Services / Branch Manager.
- Demonstrate appropriate use of tools and technology to complete work functions per process and procedures.
- Support training, coaching, mentoring, and motivation of the warehouse team during seasonal peaks.
- Identify, problem‑solve, and respond to operational issues independently.
- Share knowledge by training and mentoring peers on operations tasks.
- Maintain a professional and positive relationship with all co‑workers and customers.
- High school diploma or GED required; preferred to have a high school diploma or GED certificate.
- Minimum of two (2) years inventory experience in a distribution or inventory‑related position, with specialized skills from job‑related training.
- Strong math and analytical skills, with high accuracy and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail orientation and ability to work with limited supervision.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted, handle boxes up to 50lbs, and perform other required physical tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Familiarity with computerized inventory location systems and, preferably, inventory scanner systems.
- Ability to operate all power equipment upon successful completion of the SBF powered equipment program.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding pricing, promotion, distribution, inventory, customer lists, and financial reports.
- Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced distribution center environment.
- Strong team‑player skills and the ability to collaborate with co‑workers.
- Basic experience and familiarity with fundamental capabilities of computers and communication systems.
