Position Description
Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Cartersville, GA—offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.
Pay & Schedule- Hourly Pay $17.39 per hour

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Must have a clean driving record and a personal vehicle; travel within the area 25%–50% of the day
- Strong technical aptitude, including using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, scanners, and entering orders into a WMS system
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted (or up to 35 lbs for certain duties)
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors
- Eye for detail and excellent follow‑up practices
- Highly thorough and dependable
- Must be punctual with a good attendance record
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a diverse work environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Possesses a high degree of initiative and a strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work using health and safety methods
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule on various shifts
- Valid forklift operator’s license (certified)
- One year or more related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience (preferred)
- Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
- Responsible for accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
- Manage day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
- Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours of production
- Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
- Perform other duties as assigned
