Associate Tax Accountant – International Taxteam
At Leggett & Platt Inc., we are seeking an Associate Tax Accountant to support our international tax compliance and planning efforts. The role is entry-level and offers a hybrid schedule at our corporate office in Carthage, MO.
Responsibilities- Support U.S., federal, state, and international tax compliance
- Conduct research and analysis of U.S. and foreign tax laws
- Assist with global tax audits
- Assist with accounting for income taxes and SEC reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or in business with an emphasis in accounting) from an accredited college or university
- Strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent organizational and time‑management skills, and the ability to learn and adapt quickly
- CPA certification or candidacy
- One or two years of post‑graduate tax or accounting experience
- 3.5 GPA or above
