Corporate Accounting Intern

Position

Financial Accounting Intern – Segment Reporting Department, corporate headquarters, Carthage, MO.

This non-seasonal internship requires a minimum of 20 hours per week during the school year, with the possibility of additional hours during the summer. The role provides direct experience with the company’s accounting systems and a deeper understanding of company operations.

• Prepare account reconciliations and analyze accounts to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Assist in the preparation of the company’s consolidated financial statements and internal management reports.
• Assist in various projects, such as preparing shareholder reports, supporting external auditors with account analyses, and maintaining day-to-day contact with division accounting staff and operating managers.

• College student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, anticipated graduation no earlier than May 2027 or later than December 2028.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
• GPA of 3.3 or higher desired.
• Completion of at least one college accounting course preferred.
