Assistant Controller

Stratum Nutrition is growing, and we're looking for an Assistant Controller to join our finance team!

As a nutraceutical manufacturer supplying ingredients to co-manufacturers and end users nationwide, we need a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Oversee Day-to-day oversight of the financial accounting systems and business processes
• Own month-end close process
• Prepare financial reporting packages for stakeholders
• Own inventory and fixed asset accounting
• Partner cross-functionally with all departments
• Maintain compliance with policy and procedures
• Facilitate or support External Audit and Tax requests
• Work directly with our Senior Director of Finance to help scale our finance function
• Apply GAAP principles to financial reporting and accounting activities.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing/cost accounting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High degree of professionalism, ethics and good judgment
• A detail-oriented self-starter who's ready to make an impact at a growing company
• Strong understanding of GAAP
