Part-Time Administrative Assistant QUALIFICATIONS

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with ordering, inventory management, logistics, or supply coordination (food service or retail experience preferred)
  • Comfortable working with vendors, invoices, and basic tracking systems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams
  • Alignment with the mission of a nonprofit organization supporting people with disabilities and veterans
Duties & Responsibilities
  • All responsibilities for this position should be carried out with the Mission and Goals of the Agency in mind; including interactions with people who come to us for assistance, members of the public, representatives from other agencies and county offices, as well as with co-workers
  • Operate at the highest level of effectiveness and efficiency, including ordering, inventory management and overseeing all Café functions
  • Responsible for ensuring the entire café team is consistently adhering to sanitation and food safety standards
  • Coordinate ordering, inventory, and supply management for multiple café locations
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of food, beverages, and operational supplies
  • Work with vendors to place orders, track deliveries, and resolve issues
  • Support efficient logistics across café operations to avoid shortages or waste
  • Maintain organized records related to ordering, deliveries, and inventory
  • Collaborate with café managers and nonprofit leadership to anticipate needs
  • Support smooth daily operations so cafés can focus on inclusive employment and community service
