We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Supply Chain Analyst within our Global Procurementteam to help support our business. As a Supply Chain Analyst you will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to drive efficiency and cost savings. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by developing and implementing KPI’s and tools to aid in supply chain decisions to support key initiatives.
So, what will you be doing as a Supply Chain Analyst?- Examining workflow and utilizing analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and streamline business processes, and enhance supply chain processes
- Design, maintain, analyze supply chain metrics
- Execution and maintenance or ad hoc analysis across the Organization
- Work cross functionally to define the assumptions, query the data, build the models and align stakeholders on the process for analyzing data and developing summary actionable information
- Perform data entry and validation, daily reporting and analysis, UAT testing on new systems
- Gather and integrate relevant data quickly and adapt existing plans to new information
- Support collaboration efforts across functions and will manage initiatives and projects from ideation to execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, mathematics, data science, business, or related field preferred
- 3-5+ years of industry experience in data analysis and developing business cases
- 2+ years’ experience in dashboarding, data visualization, and reporting
- 2+ years’ experience in SQL and manipulating large data sets in a database
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, ETL, data modeling, and working with “Big Data”
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excited to learn new technologies and analytical methodologies relating to business intelligence and data analysis
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to translate ambiguous business requirements into complex analyses and actionable insights
- A deep understanding of metrics, reporting tools, and data structures
- Experience in MRP environment strongly preferred
- Ability to be a self-starter and work in groups or alone on projects
- Ability to align with forward vision and proactively seek solutions to achieving vision
