Position Overview
We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Supply Chain Analyst within our Global Procurement team to help support our business. As a global‑diversified manufacturing company, we provide high‑quality components that power everyday products such as mattresses, cars, planes, and furniture. Your work will help ensure people across the world have a more comfortable experience.
Responsibilities- Examine workflow and apply analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and streamline business processes, enhancing supply‑chain efficiency.
- Design, maintain, and analyze supply‑chain metrics.
- Execute and maintain ad‑hoc analysis across the organization.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to define assumptions, query data, build models, and align stakeholders on analytical processes, producing actionable insights.
- Perform data entry, validation, daily reporting, and UAT testing on new systems.
- Gather and integrate relevant data quickly and adapt existing plans to new information.
- Support collaboration efforts across functions and manage initiatives and projects from ideation to execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply‑chain management, mathematics, data science, business, or related field preferred.
- 3–5+ years of industry experience in data analysis and developing business cases.
- 2+ years of experience in dashboarding, data visualization, and reporting.
- 2+ years of experience in SQL and manipulating large data sets in a database.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, ETL, data modeling, and working with “Big Data.”
- Excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Excited to learn new technologies and analytical methodologies related to business intelligence and data analysis.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to translate ambiguous business requirements into complex analyses and actionable insights.
- A deep understanding of metrics, reporting tools, and data structures.
- Experience in an MRP environment strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal skills.
- Ability to be a self‑starter and work in groups or alone on projects.
- Ability to align with forward vision and proactively seek solutions to achieve the company’s vision.
