Leggett & Platt is seeking a Quality Data Analyst to join our product development team at the IDEA Center in Carthage, MO. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a close-knit team in a global organization.
This role integrates the technical data quality assurance expertise of a Quality Data Analyst with the administrative and compliance focus of a Document Controller. The position ensures that organizational data is accurate, consistent, and compliant, while also ensuring up-to-date documentation for use within the organization.
Quality Data Analyst Responsibilities- Branch to branch and surrounding locations will include approximately 25-50% travel
- Produce Data Quality Reports highlighting critical metrics and high-risk areas
- Develop Data Quality Trending Reports to identify patterns and elevate issues to management
- Use statistical tools, process mapping, and compliance frameworks to support quality improvement
- Collaborate with Quality Data Systems Manager to continue to advance SPC and other systems related software
- Collaborating with Manufacturing Services team on Machine Intelligence projects
- Support Samples, Beta Run, and PPAP initiatives
- Collaborate with Quality Specification team to continue to advance specifications
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (i.e. PFMEA, Control Plan, Work Instructions, etc.)
- Support new product documentation as needed
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
- Data analysis, statistical tools (capabilities, SPC software, Minitab), Microsoft 365 Office (Excel, Word, PP, etc.)
- Document management software knowledge
- Observe all safety procedures and policies
- Demonstrates attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment
- Completes work in a timely manner
- Self‑motivated
- Demonstrates appropriate attendance and punctuality
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with various other teams (Product Development team, Branch Operations team, Manufacturing Engineering team, etc.)
- Organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must have good communication and organizational skills
- Associate’s degree in a Business or Science related field
- Certificates within Quality or Continuous Improvement Disciplines (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
