** Summary
* **
* Duties and Responsibilities:

** Court* Case manages docket caseload and aftercare youth still in need of services; responsible for building rapport and trust with each youth
* Coordinates the communication between court and Child Protective Services, caseworkers, therapists and other service providers involved in assigned cases to develop individualized treatment plan for participating youth
* Recruits new referrals through community partnerships and courts
* Assesses and interviews new referrals for appropriate fit to court and develops client rapport
* Coordinates social services, therapy, crisis intervention services and treatments for participating individuals; refers clients to supplementary organizations or programs with a concentration on placement stabilization
* Weekly reporting of client progress, concerns, and achievements
* Responsible for setting docket calendar and organizing monitoring hearings for specific court; also ensures appropriate settings for dockets with the District Clerk and District Attorney’s office and CPS
* Attends home visits to determine client progress and expand relationships; mitigates crisis incidents
* Maintains up to date client records and files documentation of client progress; conducts follow-up interviews as to the effectiveness of services provided
* Reports to program manager regarding participant crisis and non-compliance with treatment plan
* Enter and comply with all data and/or grant requirements
* Performs related duties as requiredProgramming
* Assesses common needed services and develops court programming utilizing local community network to meet needs; including but not limited to college field trips, career festivals, monthly programming, peer-to-peer engagement opportunities
* Assists with completion of college and financial aid applications
* Manages and implements transportation plan for participating youth
* Performs related duties to specified partnership with Bexar County Fostering Education Success Network
* Collects data required for evaluation and reporting requirements

* Minimum Qualifications:

*** Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services, Behavioral Science, or a closely related field which requires participating in a practicum as part of a supervised course of clinical training at an accredited institution of higher learning or a proprietary school, and five years of experience working with drug treatment cases, addiction or child abuse services;

or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Good knowledge of child protective services; good knowledge of child abuse and neglect laws.
* Skill to communicate effectively with hostile, abusive or irrational individuals; skill in managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; ability to perform mathematical calculations; ability to adjust to rapidly fluctuating situations; ability to react professionally and safely under potential or actual volatile conditions; ability to operate personal computer; ability to enhance technological skills; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, County employees, defendants and their families, outside agencies, caseworkers and the public.

Proficiency in Excel and Word; ability to develop and maintain variety of spreadsheets to track client and provider information
* Must secure and maintain a favorable background investigation and clearance
* Must clear a pre-employment physical and a pre-employment drug screen test
* May be required to work more than 40 hours during the workweek
