Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Responsible to: Director of Special Services, Building Principal

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders.
• Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology.

Primary Functions:

Screening, diagnosing and treating students with various communication disorders.

General Responsibilities:

Screenings; full speech and/or language evaluations, if needed; writing and implementing Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs); and treatment.

Specific Duties:

• Develop schedules.
• Communicate with parents, teachers and students.
• Prepare required reports (IEPs, Evaluation Reports, Medicaid, and Student Progress).

Determine appropriate therapy approaches for each student.
