Inventory Control Clerk

Qualifications

• Must be able to write legibly and have good math skills
• Ability to make basic arithmetic calculations requiring addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Show knowledge of maintenance tools
• Possess the ability to work effectively with others and be a team member

• Maintain orderly arrangement of all parts and supplies, including dies, nibs, and collars.
• Safeguard inventories against theft, preventable waste, and unauthorized use.
• Maintain and process accurate inventory records (data‑entry and receiving)
• Issue parts and/or necessary tooling
• Inspecting, receiving, and stocking inventory as needed
• Assist with physical inventory counts
• Identify damaged inventory
• Deliver parts and supplies to appropriate requestors when necessary
• Recognize wrong parts and take the appropriate action to correct the problem
• Follow instructions and work under general supervision
• Maintain confidentiality regarding pricing and vendor information
