Position Overview
Hanszen Broadcasting (KGAS & KMHT Radio) is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Office Manager to oversee the station’s daily financial and administrative operations. This position is responsible for maintaining the company’s financed, processing accounts payable and receivable, entering advertising orders into the station system, and handling semi-monthly payroll. The ideal candidate is highly organized, trustworthy, and comfortable managing multiple financial and operational responsibilities in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable to ensure timely payments to various vendors
- Process accounts receivable to ensure timely deposits and accurate financial representations
- Enter advertising orders, contracts, and billing information into the station management system accurately and efficiently, occasionally helping with fulfilling order in the commercial logs
- Prepare and process semi-monthly payroll, maintaining employee records and ensuring payroll accuracy
- Monitor and maintain company bank accounts, including deposits, reconciliations and financial tracking
- Generate invoices monthly with accuracy and follow up on outstanding client balances
- Maintain organized financial, client, and operational records in both digital and paper formats
- Coordinate with management regarding budgets, financial reporting, and office operations
- Assist with preparing reports, maintaining vendor records, and handling confidential financial information
- Support station ownership with secretarial duties, including correspondence, scheduling, preparing documents, maintaining records, and assisting with daily business operations
- Answer phones and provide general administrative support as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in office management, bookkeeping, payroll, accounting, or administrative operations preferred
- Experience with Natural Log Broadcast system, payroll systems, Quick Books, or similar programs preferred
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer-based management systems
- Good understanding of various technology machines, i.e. computers, cell phones, printers, multi-line phone systems, etc.
- Ability to be flexible during day-to-day operation while maintaining efficiency
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-Time Position
- Monday–Friday, 8am – 5pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch from 12pm – 1pm
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Additional time outside regular day may be needed based on station events
