Lease Operator

The Lease Operator I is responsible for safe and efficient, daily operations of our natural gas system. This is an entry-level position which will receive training to perform troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and equipment startup.

• Travel to each location to gather, record, and report all relevant information (i.e., gauges, fluids, pressures, production, etc.) in an accurate and consistent manner.
• Inspect locations for any leaks, spills, and recognize any potential issues. Contact immediate supervisor with any relevant issues, or significant production loss in a timely manner.
• Once fully trained, this position will troubleshoot, repair and correct issues as necessary.
• Record and process all paperwork, inspections, time cards, and expense reports in a timely manner.

• Competent with Microsoft Excel and Outlook Express.
• Oilfield experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to perform simple daily tasks with hand tools.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• A steady work history and strong work-ethic.
• Goal driven/forward thinking.
• Ability to learn and retain task knowledge.

• Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.
• Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection.
• Prolonged sitting, standing, walking.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to individually lift:
  Maximum 100 lbs.
• Possible exposures to gas/liquid hydrocarbons and salt water.
