RN Responsibilities:

Maintain nursing service objectives, goals, and standards consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.

Evaluate staffing needs to meet resident care requirements in collaboration with the Director of Nursing.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Receive, transcribe, and implement physician’s orders accurately.

Implement and evaluate care plans.

Identify and secure necessary equipment and supplies.

Supervise and oversee subordinate staff.

Participate in duty assignments and organize tasks and schedules.

Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing discipline or training as needed.

Ensure infection control protocols are followed.

Investigate and document accidents and incidents.

Perform other duties as assigned.

RN Requirements:

Current, valid RN licensure required.
Experience in long-term healthcare preferred.
Management or supervisory experience required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed.
Strong written and verbal skills required.
