Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Multiple Shifts Available – New Wage Scale!

Briarcliff Skilled Nursing Facility specializes in long‑term and rehabilitative care.

As a CNA you will work a 12‑hour shift providing personal care to residents, assisting the charge nurse, and delivering exceptional service as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort consistent with community policy.
• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
• Advise supervising charge nurse of resident’s status at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Contribute knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans.
• Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.
• Observe and report on residents’ conditions, documenting observations as required.
• Comply with procedures for safe lifting or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures.
• Perform moderate to heavy lifting as required.
• Ensure equipment is clean and functional.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks to maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Texas State certification as a nursing assistant.
• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
• Highly developed observation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
