- Prepare project layouts.
- Estimate measurements and proportions.
- Work with blueprints or supervisory instructions.
- Use hand tools and power tools to repair and erect structures.
- Operate ladders and scaffolding.
- Ensure work meets code and specifications.
- Use levels, plumb bobs, and surveying equipment for accuracy.
- Construct forms for concrete.
- Erect scaffolding.
- Comply with all safety and project rules.
- Maintain high production with good quality output.
- Participate actively in a safety culture.
- Identify safety hazards and risks.
- Attend onsite safety meetings.
- Follow OPD and client safety policies.
- Remain aware of changing conditions on the jobsite.
- Arrive on time and ready to work.
- Display a positive attitude and teamwork.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, humidity, cold, and high elevation.
- Lift and carry awkward objects up to 60 lbs.
- Stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours per day).
- Move the body frequently, using arms, legs, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, crawling, twisting, reaching, and bending.
- Maintain good hand‑eye coordination.
- Use hands to manipulate tools and objects.
- Two years of prior experience as a carpenter.
- Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math calculations.
- Willingness to travel and spend extended periods away from home.
- Ability to work outside in extreme conditions.
- Participation in mandatory safety meetings.
- Team‑work capability.
- Availability for shifts up to 12 hours per day, 7 days per week.
- Meeting basic physical requirements.
- Five years of prior experience as a carpenter.
- Experience in oil and gas construction.
