Night Vacuum Truck Driver — Must live within 45 minutes of Carthage, TX

Job summary and duties describe the safe operation of a vacuum truck and trailer, loading and unloading oilfield fluids, and coordinating with dispatch for next load assignments.
Job SummaryThis position will be responsible for the safe operation of a vacuum truck and trailer, hauling oilfield fluids to proper disposal locations, and communicating with dispatch to receive load assignments.
Responsibilities- Haul and dispose of oilfield related fluids while safely operating a vacuum tractor and trailer unit.
- Inspect truck and trailer for defects before and after trips and report any discrepancies indicating truck condition.
- Drop and spot trailers in the appropriate yard.
- Back trailers in and out of designated areas without damaging surrounding vehicles or property.
- Maneuver trailers in and around tight corners, through manufacturing areas, and in high-traffic zones.
- Obey all traffic laws set by state and federal government and comply with DOT guidelines.
- Chock wheels and use provided cones per backing procedures.
- Enter data into a tablet using software such as Geo Tab, Iron Sight, and Centauri applications.
- Maintain satisfactory customer service.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year
experience driving a combination vehicle (tractor-trailer) in a DOT-regulated environment. - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must live within 60 min radius of Godley, TX
- Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement and a clean driving record
- Minimum of one year experience operating a diesel truck with trailer in a DOT-regulated environment
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Must follow all DOT, Pinnergy and customer safety rules and regulations.
- Must have the ability to maneuver and back up a tractor trailer.
