Sourcing Analyst
Join a leading medical technology organization as a Sourcing Analyst, driving supplier strategy, negotiations, and supply chain performance in a highly regulated environment. This onsite contract role offers the opportunity to partner with cross-functional teams, lead cost-saving initiatives, and make a direct impact on operational excellence and patient-focused innovation.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze supplier contracts, strategies, negotiations, and terms to optimize sourcing processes.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships, including assessing and mitigating supply chain risks.
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet project and organizational needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction methodologies.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals, guidelines, and procedures related to supply management.
- Ensure compliance with ISO
13485 standards, FDA QSR, and other relevant industry regulations. - Conduct supplier audits and monitor supplier performance metrics to drive quality and efficiency.
- Lead and coordinate internal and external negotiations to achieve the best prices and favorable terms.
- Support supply chain risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage multiple projects with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Operate effectively in a highly regulated industry, particularly within the Medical Device sector.
Requirements
- 6+ years in Supply Management with a focus on strategic sourcing and supplier development.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
- Master's Degree and professional certifications through APICS, ISM, and/or CSCMP preferred.
- Knowledge and application of supplier contract strategy, negotiations, and contract administration.
- Experience with supplier processes, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
- Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and cost reduction strategies.
- Experience with supplier metrics and measurement systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications and project management tools.
- Supplier audit experience in quality systems such as FDA QSR, ISO
3485, and ISO
9001 preferred. - Additional experience operating in regulated environments such as the Medical Device industry is a plus.
- International sourcing experience and ISO
13485 standards knowledge preferred.
