The Role

The Associate Strategic Account Representative (ASAR) is responsible for assisting front‑line leadership in managing the customer experience at Durex Industries. As the person with frequent customer contact, the ASAR works to provide the highest possible level of service for customer transactions, as well as integrate a functional sales role through various sales fulfillment activities and voice of the customer contact.

Your Responsibilities
  • Support assigned accounts through timely and effective communication internally and externally to all stakeholders.
  • Process customer transactions related to the order process such as order entry, shipping dates, routing data, and RMA’s subject to approved contract review procedures.
  • Assist customer with required portal interface or reporting requirements as assigned. Reporting requirements can include open order reports, on‑time delivery data, or customer scorecard publications.
  • Process pre‑order requirements such as new quote requests and price verifications on expired pricing.
  • Maintain established customer price lists through interface with estimating and management.
  • Follow up on quotations directly with assigned customers or indirectly through assigned sales reps. Ensure data is recorded per the quotation follow up procedure.
  • Provide sales and management with critical customer intelligence that is impactful to a positive relationship with Durex Industries.
  • Assist with intercompany departments with various activities which may include Account Receivables and/or collections.
  • Train on Strategic Account Representative responsibilities to provide support as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Strong self‑prioritization skills
  • High energy level with the ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team. Must be a team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that can be communicated clearly both verbally and in written form. Able to support various levels of customer management structures.
  • Possess critical thinking and problem‑solving skills capable of identifying customer problems and bringing the proper personnel to the problem for resolution.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high accuracy in all processing of customer documentation.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous customer service experience a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Good computer and typing skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to Windows‑based software.
Pay Range

$55,000 - $83,000
