Headquartered in Cary, Illinois, Coilcraft supports industries including telecommunications, computing, automotive, broadband communications, and consumer electronics. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our Document Control team. This role plays an important part in supporting engineering, manufacturing, and customer operations by ensuring accurate documentation, order processing, and sample coordination.
AboutThe Role And Your Impact
- Route and distribute Engineering Work Orders and related documents generated by sales, engineering, and customers.
- Prepare, package, and ship customer sample requests.
- Use CAD software and drafting tools to complete approved design data sheets for release.
- Enter and release orders within the system following engineering approval.
- Cross-check purchase orders and order entries for accuracy.
- Support engineering and manufacturing teams through accurate document control and tracking.
- Maintain organized records and ensure timely processing of documentation.
- High School diploma required.
- 1–3 years of related work experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills and follow-through.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with CAD equipment and software.
- Experience with manufacturing or ERP software systems.
- Experience supporting engineering or manufacturing teams.
- Exposure to document control or order processing environments.
- Stable company with a 75+ year history and long-tenured employees.
- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams.
- Hands-on role supporting real manufacturing operations.
