The RoleMaintain professional relations with all levels of contact with the assigned strategic customer. This position provides a high level of daily written and verbal communication related to procurement and fulfillment of orders within a robust transactional environment. There will be a high degree of customer interface, management of customer delivery expectations, and associated support for internal department management and production control.
YourResponsibilities
- Maintain effective and efficient relationships with supply chain representatives and engineering personnel.
- Provide timely response to customer requirements for order transaction status, expedite requests, return authorizations, or shipping changes.
- Assist with maintaining the customer portal communications on a daily basis and provide feedback to management regarding current or pending issues that impact the customer relationship.
- Enter all assigned customer orders accurately into ERP system.
- Assist with the production of documentation required for estimates.
- Participate in on‑site customer meetings and system audits as required.
- Administer scorecard inputs, maintaining compliant status.
- Assist production control with administration functions necessary to maintain accurate production capacity schedules.
- Minimum 3‑5 years in a diverse manufacturing environment.
- High degree of professionalism in verbal and written communication.
- Possess a “can do” attitude in seeking to satisfy customer requirements on a daily basis.
- Strong excel skills required to manipulate data for management analysis.
- Must be willing to move within the manufacturing facility to interface with various departments and capture data related to costing and order status.
- Be a person of integrity to complete tasks and commitments on‑time.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, both now and in the future.
- Internal and external customer reviews are consistently positive.
- Business with assigned customer continues to develop and grow.
- Operational methodologies are clear and concise.
- Plans are well organized and executed in a solid regimen.
