Purchasing Coordinator

Aegis is currently partnering with a local manufacturing company in Cary to identify a Purchasing Coordinator to join their growing team!

Responsibilities:

• Own material compliance documentation and supplier certification for Purchasing and Supply Chain.
• Research BOMs to identify raw material suppliers; obtain and organize certifications to meet customer, regulatory, and DoD requirements.
• Work with suppliers to secure Certificates of Origin and other certifications; maintain records in the ERP system and Assent; respond to compliance requests from Customer Service, Sales, and customers.
• Keep documentation current and accessible to support sustainability, conflict minerals, labor law, and other regulatory initiatives.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, purchasing, supply chain, quality, materials, or administrative support role.
• Ability to read and navigate Bills of Materials (BOMs) or willingness to learn.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
