Step into a role where precision powers the entire packaging flow. As a Converting Slitter‑Rewinder Technician at Technipaq, you’ll transform master rolls into perfectly slit materials that keep our press, lamination, pouch, and customer roll stock operations moving on schedule.
A day in the lifeYou arrive for second shift, review the production schedule, and set up the slitter for the day’s mix of foil, film, Tyvek, and paper laminates. You measure to the 1/16 of an inch, verify specs, and manage large rolls with assist equipment. You keep a sharp eye on quality as you support downstream teams—then document your runs and prep the line for the next order.

- 2nd Shift (Cary Location): 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm, Monday–Friday
- 2+ years of complex mechanical work (e.g., disassembling cars or machines, replacing engines/transmissions) — required
- 1+ year of machine operation experience — preferred, not required
- Age 18+ and able to pass reading and ruler testing (1/16" accuracy on a standard ruler; pre‑employment ruler test required)
- Comfort standing and walking for the entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and, using equipment, push/pull/maneuver very large rolls weighing several hundred pounds daily
- Ability to squat, bend, crouch, and kneel; tolerance for chemicals and occasional strong odors
- Prior ISO experience in manufacturing or light industrial settings — preferred
- Lamination, packaging, or pharmaceutical industry background — preferred but not required; we will train
