Salary Range: $24.00 - $28.00/hour (pending experience)
Hours: Monday - Friday / 1:45pm - 10pm (8.25 hrs)
Qualifications- 2-4 years demonstrated experience in a related field required.
- Ability to work with all levels of employees.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Assists with machine setup, prepares machinery for operation by setting up tools, loading materials, and adjusting settings as directed by the primary operator.
- Supplies raw material or component specific to the press machine as needed, ensuring a steady flow of materials to maintain efficient production levels.
- Monitors press machine operations, observes the machine during operation to ensure the machine is running as expected, notifying the primary operator or supervisor of any issues or malfunctions.
- Assists with routine maintenance, such as cleaning, lubricating, or replacing parts, adjusting machine settings, or other standard practices to ensure proper operation of the machine and to maintain quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
- Troubleshoots minor technical issues, performs minor repairs or adjustments under the guidance of the primary operator or maintenance personnel.
- Ability to fill in or temporarily run the machine during shift changes, or as necessary.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Place hazardous waste into correct containers.
- Label and mark hazardous waste containers properly.
- Place hazardous waste containers in storage area.
- Obtain containers for hazardous waste storage.
- Handle hazardous waste containers properly including keeping waste containers closed when not in use and grounding and bonding during the transfer of flammables.
- Respond to hazardous waste emergencies and spills.
- Annual Hazardous Waste Management Training.
- Contingency Plan Training.
