CNC Operator; 2nd shift

CNC Operator (2nd shift) - $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

As the CNC Operator, you will prepare and set up machines to fabricate highly precision-machined parts. Operators set up and operate close tolerance and conventional equipment, then verify precision-machined parts and document actions.

• Fabricate highly precision-machined parts by operating turning centers and milling centers per work orders, routers & blueprints.
• Set up close tolerance and conventional equipment by studying drawings, samples, blueprints, and manuals, installing computerized instructions.
• Document actions by signing off and completing forms, reports, logs and records.
• Perform quality tests and operational checks.
• Verify parts using precision measuring equipment.
• May be assigned additional tasks as needed.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read calipers, micrometers, indicators, edge finder and blueprints.
• Basic understanding of CNC controls and cutting tools.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Ability to deburr and handle parts to customer requirements.
• Work independently.
• Install computerized instructions.
• Safety/quality minded.

• Effective communication with employees, departments, and management.

$20.00 - $30.00 (2nd shift has a 15% shift differential)
