We are seeking a Production Planning Associate to join our Manufacturing Operations team. In this role, you'll help ensure production schedules, inventory, and planning systems work together to support on-time customer delivery and efficient manufacturing operations.
Aboutthe Role and Your Impact
- Compile and analyze reports to ensure raw material inventory meets production requirements
- Review production systems and identify non-standard occurrences
- Maintain planning data and operating system databases
- Compare finished goods inventory and work-in-process against production requirements
- Review production schedules to support on-time customer delivery
- Partner with manufacturing, purchasing, inventory, and other departments
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- 1–2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, inventory control, or related manufacturing role
- Manufacturing experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with MRP systems
- SQL query writing
- Production scheduling or inventory analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations
