CNC Operator - 1st & 2nd Shift

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $30.00/hour + $1,000 Sign-On Bonus + Opportunities for $500 Referral Bonus
Schedule/Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; 2nd Shift Monday-Thursday 3:00 PM- 2:00 AM

Summary:
The CNC Operator is responsible for preparing, setting up, and operating machines to fabricate highly precise machined parts. This role involves working with close tolerance equipment, verifying finished parts, and maintaining accurate documentation.

• Set up and operate turning centers, milling centers, and conventional equipment using work orders, routers, and blueprints
• Fabricate precision-machined parts while maintaining tight tolerances and quality standards
• Perform quality checks and verify parts using precision measuring equipment
• Document production activities through reports, logs, and sign-offs
• Conduct routine operational checks and complete additional assigned tasks as needed

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read and use calipers, micrometers, indicators, edge finders, and blueprints
• Basic understanding of CNC controls, cutting tools, and mechanical processes
• Experience deburring parts and handling them to customer specifications
• Knowledge of Okuma, Haas, or Cincinnati machines (lathes and mills) preferred
