Your leadership ensures schedules stay on track, materials are where they need to be, and data is clean and accurate across SFM and the ERP. When exceptions arise—MRBs, CARs, expediting, or inventory discrepancies—you drive resolution and communicate status so every team has what they need to build on time and to spec.
What you’ll lead Coordinate movement of production components across departments; provide timely status updates to production teams.
Attend department meetings, own action items, and follow through to closure.
Partner daily with Engineering, Quality, Production, Planning, and Shipping & Receiving.
Support Operations Supervisors and Team Leads to prioritize and reconcile component and assembly quantities throughout the build process.
Oversee Shipping & Receiving activities, including operation of barcode and labeling equipment.
Work with supervisors to expedite assemblies through manufacturing and shipping as needed.
Serve as Shop Floor BPO for barcode/labeling systems and provide technical support.
Safeguard transaction accuracy across manufacturing, including:
Movement of stock items and components between the stockroom and production lines.
Adherence to Manufacturing Execution System (MES/SFM) transaction requirements.
Coordination of component flow between Foundry and Assembly.
Maintenance of complete MO documentation and physical inventory accuracy.
Creation and follow-up of MRBs and CARs.Participation in cycle counts and the annual physical inventory.
Generation of daily work progress reports and maintenance of accurate production transactions.
Reconciliation of SFM and ERP transactions, quantities, and locations.
Liaison to Purchasing for material reviews and replenishment signals.
Identify improvements to inventory and material flow using methods such as Kanban and safety stock strategies.
Keep production schedules intact and ensure visibility to all components linked to active MOs.Drive continuous improvement and support implementation of process enhancements.
Perform special projects, analyses, and other duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring
High School Diploma or GED required;
Associate Degree in Operations or related field preferred.
Experience in discrete manufacturing.
Strong process discipline with data analysis capability and sound judgment.
Change agent mindset: self-motivated, adaptable, and results-oriented.
Clear, professional communication (verbal, written, and electronic) across all levels.
Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Hands-on experience with ERP and labor/material transactions;
Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
OSHA 10 certification preferred.
Leadership / People Management;
Supervisory Experience.
Spanish language skills.
Warehouse experience;
Workers’ Compensation familiarity.
ISO 9001 exposure and Workplace Safety & EHS Management mindset.
