Precision CNC Milling Specialist; –5 Axis, HAAS​/Okuma)

Shape Precision on 2nd Shift with Durex Industries Step onto a floor of brand-new, state-of-the-art CNC equipment and help us manufacture high-precision components that keep our customers moving forward. As a core member of our CNC machining team, you’ll set up, run, and continuously improve milling (and some turning) processes—owning quality, safety, and throughput from start to finish.

What Your Evening Looks Like Load jobs, set work and tool offsets, and execute programs to produce precision parts to blueprint and router requirements.

Interpret drawings and GD&T callouts; verify features using micrometers, calipers, indicators, edge finders, and other hand metrology tools.

Edit and optimize G-code/M-code, select and maintain cutting tools, and dial in machine geometry for accuracy and repeatability.

Perform in-process inspections, quality tests, and operational checks; document results across forms, reports, logs, and records.

Troubleshoot issues, coordinate workflow, support production scheduling, and manage materials and inventory as needed.

Share knowledge—train operators, support teammates, and, depending on experience, help lead daily priorities.

Pitch in on additional tasks as assigned to keep production flowing safely and efficiently.

What You Bring High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Fluent with calipers, micrometers, indicators, edge finders, and blueprint reading.

Hands-on experience with CNC controls, tooling, and setups; able to deburr and handle parts to customer specs.

Independent, safety- and quality-minded, organized, and detail-focused communicator who owns outcomes.
