Job Summary

A Document Control Specialist for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company is needed in the Cary, IL area. This role serves as a Document Control Specialist responsible for managing the lifecycle, accuracy, and regulatory compliance of technical manufacturing documentation within a highly regulated environment.

8am to 5pm

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update logs, databases, and catalogs for product, manufacturing, and regulatory compliance data.
  • Coordinate the comprehensive review and revision cycle for procedures, specifications, and forms.
  • Prepare detailed process reports and status updates to track documentation progress.
  • Assign and monitor document identification numbers to ensure organizational consistency.
  • Audit documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Assist in the compilation and organization of regulatory filing documents.
  • Manage computerized filing systems to support global documentation infrastructure.
  • Apply professional judgment and technical expertise to work independently with minimal supervision.
Skills
  • Expert in microsoft word, technical writing, working with cross functional.
  • Excellent working knowledge of document control management processes and practices.
  • Ability to learn new concepts, coach, mentor, or train on new concepts.
  • strong interpersonal skills with the ability to use tact and diplomacy.
  • Effective analytical problem solving, judgement and decision making required.
  • Proactive nature and flexibility to change gears with little notice.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
Education and Experience
  • This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and
  • 2 years in a regulated environment.
