Job OverviewThe Warehouse Associate at Technipaq is a key player in supplying our production lines with materials to keep productivity at peak levels 24‑hours a day. This position is responsible for warehouse materials being delivered to and from production areas to meet customer promised ship dates and for tracking on‑hand inventory to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Warehouse Associates report to our Warehouse Supervisors and interact with all company levels to meet customer specifications and quality guidelines.
Responsibilities- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Prepping orders for shipment.
- Putting away used materials.
- General maintenance of all warehouse areas.
- 2+ years of accident‑free sit‑down forklift operation.
- 2+ years experience in shipping and receiving, including loading/unloading trucks, reading and creating shipping labels.
- Experience moving product from floor to shelving units at least five levels high and picking product from stacked shelving for delivery to machines.
- Experience in inventory counts and using RF scanners.
- Ability to lift 35‑60 pounds from floor to shoulder, 10‑35 pounds from shoulder to overhead, and push 200‑400 pounds with a cart, hand truck, or pallet jack.
- Capability to measure and interpret measurements up to 1/16th of an inch using a ruler, and strong basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Independence, reliability, and strong communication skills.
- Basic keyboarding and data entry skills.
- Proficiency in read, write, and oral communication in English.
- Automatic shrink wrapper experience.
- Experience using balers.
- Experience with Fed Ex, UPS, and World Ship.
