Job Description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking to fill a Controller role for a small but growing US subsidiary of an international manufacturer based in northern Greensboro, NC. The ideal candidate will have a BS Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 3 years progressive accounting experience including leadership skills, ideally in the manufacturing industry. Controller Duties
  • Oversee the finance department, including supervision of Accountant
  • Handle budgeting, audits, tax obligations, accounting functions, and administrative duties for the organization.
  • Maintain financial ledgers and manage accounting processes.
  • Prepare monthly consolidated Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheets for the international parent company.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of statutory and internal financial reports.
  • Provide financial analysis reports as required.
  • Manage cash flow and perform treasury-related tasks.
  • Implement and uphold effective systems and internal controls.
  • Work closely with external CPA firm.
  • Oversee and analyze physical inventory processes and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on matters related to benefits, including 401(k) plans and other employee benefits.
  • Work closely with Production, Sales, and Purchasing teams regarding inventory and pricing matters.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
    Three or more years of experience in the accounting field;
    Minimum 2 years leadership experience.
  • Possess the ability to multitask and work collaboratively as well as independently
  • Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • ERP system experience.
