You will report to the Finance Controller and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, NC.
** To be considered for the Accounting Associate (AR) opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
*** Associates Degree in Accounting preferable
* 2+ years accounting experience using an ERP system in a manufacturing environment is a must.
* Proficient MS Office skills (Excel, Word, etc)
* High attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
* Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
* Willing and able to work in a dynamic team environment
* Solid analytical thinking skills and creative, resourceful problem-solving competencies
** As an Accounting Associate (AR), you will:
*** Performs Daily Customer Invoicing
* Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
* Monitors customer accounts receivable balances on a regular basis to ensure accounts are current; contacts customers to collect on past due accounts
* Investigates and resolves issues as they relate to billing, short payments, over payments, credit memos, etc.
* Performs entry and reconciliation of G/L accounts for Accounts Receivable
* Assists with General Ledger journal entries
* Assists with weekly check runs, monitoring of emails for payables/receivables, etc. as needed
* Performs administrative and office support activities for various departments within the organization
