Carolina Family Estate Planning is seeking a Legal Assistant - Estate and Trust to play a key role in supporting our estate planning, probate, and trust administration team. In this position, you will help ensure efficient operations and a seamless experience for our clients throughout their planning and administration journey. A Day in the LifeAs a Legal Assistant - Estate and Trust, you will begin your day by reviewing your calendar, case management system, and email to prioritize tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling meetings and managing calendars
- Triaging incoming communications
- Maintaining accurate and organized client records
- Drafting and proofreading estate planning and administration documents
- Monitoring deadlines and case progress
- Collaborating closely with attorneys and team members
- Participating in weekly team meetings to review cases and improve processes
In this role, you serve as an essential operational hub for the estate and trust team. Your work allows attorneys to focus on high-level legal counseling while ensuring our clients receive accurate, timely, and professional service.
Schedule and LocationSchedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Alternative schedules may be considered.
Location:
100% in-office at our Cary, NC location.
